Hump Day Ended with a Bang

Literally.

Today was a great Wednesday! Clare had her silent dinner at Olive Garden, Clare & Lil B participated in Wine Wednesday, and Sarah didn't throw up!

We finally got our lawn cut!! Our landlord sent over the landscaper and our postage stamp of a lawn was trimmed down.

Late at night we watched some middle school videos of Michelle. Clare was secretly videotaping these videos until Michelle found out, leaped onto Clare, and pressed delete on her phone. Michelle is on probation from the #25Hoes for her actions. Anyway, she was dancing up the stairs in true-Michelle fashion when she smacked her head on the ceiling...which is also in true-Michelle fashion.

Roofin' It

The winter weather has officially broken and spring is well on its way! When it's this nice weather it only means one thing: evenings spent on the porch and climbing out Michelle's window to sit on the roof. That's exactly what we did last Monday. It was about 73 degrees, sunny, and everyone was out and about on our street.

Katie got home around 4pm and sat on the porch with Clare and Lil B. They enjoyed chips while discussing the book club we're forming (yes...a book club!) Then Sarah came home and Lil B unfortunately had to go into work. So we decided to climb out Michelle's window and sit on our roof.

Cute Lil B

Our neighbors were on their balcony too

Lil B off to work

We need our two other hoes!
Then Nico and our favorite pup Bailey came over and visited with us. Oh my word could we snuggle with Bailey for hours. How cute is she?! She's a natural model.

We're looking forward to many more roofin' it kind of nights!

We've been trying to document Lil B's progress with her Relay for Life event. Well last Friday, April 15th was the day! Each year there's a different theme.

-Michelle played karaoke and sang to Backstreet Boys
-everyone bawled when the Crescendonts performed "Let It Be"
-Lil B was merely a member of Colleges Against Cancer
-we stayed until 4am

Sophomore Year
-carnival theme
-they had food trucks!
-we sold chocolate pretzels & lemonade for our fundraiser
-we stayed until midnight
-Katie and Sarah pretended to be back up dancers
-Lil B was still a member of Colleges Against Cancer

Junior Year
-superhero theme
-we sold chocolate oreos as our team fundraiser
-Lil B was an office member of Colleges Against Cancer
-Michelle took pictures with everyone
-Clare and her swim team joined us!
-Clare didn't have a fundraiser so they sold their
extra Easter candy
-we stayed until about 10pm
-Michelle dressed as Wonder Woman

Senior Year
-Olympic themed
-what fundraiser?
-Lil B was the president AND Clare was a
member of CAC
-CAC cooked the taco in a bag meat in our house
the night before (sorry KeShawn)
-Lil B's boyfriend attended and he thought it was an actual relay
-Sarah took a selfie with Lil B's dad
-Clare's mom donated a ton of popcorn
-Relay had live music for the first time: Shattered Glass
-Gary Everett and KeShawn high fived us all night
All of Lil B's Relay for Life t-shirts from the four years she's organized this event!

We're so sad that our Relays as college students are over :( We've had a lot of fun over the years and we're proud of our own Lil B for organizing such great events!

Psi Chi

A couple weeks ago our very own Sarah was inducted into the ____, which is the college's psychology honor society. Another roomie, Clare, was the one who inducted her!

Our serving utensils made an appearance at the induction ceremony!

Clare in time out

She caught us taking snipes

Shaking Clare's hand during the ceremony!

She's inducted!

Leftover cannolis (we took them home) placed on a bed of romaine

We stocked up on butter for the week

Sarah had to call our landlord because TWO tiles fell off our shower wall in the downstairs bathroom
So we ate a ton of Chef's this night and took a ton of Chef's home. Lil B ate some when she got home but we forgot to put it in the fridge. Aka it went bad over night and we had to throw it out. RIP to spaghetti parm.

Let's Play Catch-Up...Again

Here's what we've been up to the past couple weeks in April!

Robert's car was actually out for once!
Sarah helped Katie deliver some materials while doing so discreetly. The mission was successful.

Four of the roomies went to our favorite margarita and Mexican restaurant! On Tuesdays their margs are only $2. How can we say no...ever?

We love queso!
Last week was the Eat, Cure, Love event in the dining hall. Aka you get the eat for free and indulge on some actually decent food. There was Asian food, a mini-Thanksgiving dinner, pesto pasta, and a variety of salads. For dinner we had brownie sundaes. Clare went with her sister and Lil B earlier in the day but Katie and Sarah stopped by the dining hall later on.

Oh how we love Michele's exciting stories! This one had to do with a boy. If you're up to date with Michelle you know which one!

This past Friday we sat in on a #25Hoes bestie present her English thesis! We were so proud of Nico! And the best part? Her presentation included Harry Potter!

Month in Review: March

How is March over already? It's like we blinked and it was April. We've been slacking with our posts lately but here's our Month in Review for March!

Earlier in March Katie, Sarah, and Michelle headed to our state's capital for our college's basketball league tournament. Unfortunately we lost. But honestly are we surprised? Absolutely not. This was a bittersweet weekend for Katie, Sarah, and Michelle since it was their last weekend being cheerleaders :(
Sarah, the dedicated cheerleader, climbed on tables to get our cheer mats

Lil B has been planning and organizing several fundraisers and events on campus to promote the Relay for Life event our college always hosts. This year the fundraiser at this BBQ restaurant that has amazing pulled pork and macaroni & cheese. Supporting Lil B and indulging in some southern comfort...how could we say no?

We had a couple quiches made, courtesy of Mamma B. Michelle's dad also made us these delicious spinach dip bite appetizers. I think each of us had about five each. Oops!

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day with a lot of fun this year! Kegs and eggs, posing with Sarah's car, a lot of jell-o shots, and a lot of friends!
The famous cutout cookies in shamrocks from Mamma B
Celebrating St. Patrick's Day with friends!
As we get closer to graduation (insert broken heart emoji) we're all questioning what we want to do next year and with our life. One day Katie and Sarah went to Sarah's house for dinner and some March Madness games when we had a nice, long, and comforting discussion with Mamma B about our future.
Discussions with Mamma B
We also went on a wine tour! We recapped this wine tour a couple days ago but we're still radiating from this day! So much fun, so many snacks, and really good wine on the day before Easter :)

March was the month that the last of us finally turned 22! Sarah also washed her sheets for the first time since August. How cozy does her bed look!

For a couple days Michelle slept on her clean clothes because she didn't have time to put them away.
Looks comfy, right?
April is our last full month of undergrad students :( We have every intention of having fun and completing as many things as possible on our bucket list!
