Quad Party: Part 2

The Mother of All Blog Posts (Again)
We're back to finally recap the second part of Quad Party.

You can see Part One here
If you're in the mood for a good laugh we suggest reading it :)

So we left off right before the opening of the Quad Party festivities. On our way over to Quad Party Sarah greeted and thanked every security officer on the premise. Katie forgot her student ID and had to run back to the house. Lil B wanted to take one more shot. So we were off to a good start!

Quad Party has the best food choices and the best part is it's all for free. This year's food choices included: ice cream truck, Chef's, Ted's Hot Dogs, Chiavetta's BBQ Chicken, Lloyd's Taco Truck, Franco's Pizza, French fry truck, and fried dough. Our stomachs are exploding just thinking about all this food. The downside was there weren't many options for Michelle. If you know Michelle, you know she loves her avocados, Chobani yogurt, green veggies, and chocolate.

Here we are indulging in some Quad Party food!

The only thing Sarah wanted at Quad Party was Chiavetta's chicken dinner. Here she is! Look how happy that face is!

Enjoying the music!

We all came back to the house to take a little power nap.

Around 4pm we decided to head back to Quad Party for round 2. This time we ate even more food, raced each other on the inflatable obstacle course, and listened to the band The Plagiarists- it was a cover band.

Afterwards we went over to our friend Nicole's house and some of us went to Anderson's for ice cream! As if we didn't eat enough during the day.
We walked in and 7 people were napping on the couch
At night we all met on Michelle's bed and recapped the day while Michelle had a snack of her own.

Snuggles!

Girl talk :)
Quad Party 2016 was the BEST! We had so much fun with our friends, siblings, and fellow Griffs. What a way to celebrate the end of the semester!

Xoxo,

Bucket List #2

Drink at Iggy's
Yes, we know it's been a while since we've checked off a bucket list item but Bucket List #2 was a big deal for us! We've been trying to find time where all of us could make it. Last year our college put in a bar at one of the dining locations on campus and it's all the buzz. They have free popcorn, TVs, and a ton of dip you can buy. The only downside is you have to pay with either cash, credit card, or golden choice dollars, which is a method of payment at our college's dining halls.

Here we are about to head out to check off another bucket list item!
Side note: Katie, Lil B, and Clare spent their evening making music videos before Sarah got home

On a random Wednesday night we decided to go to Iggy's for an alcoholic beverage because it's finals week, ya know, and we're all soooo stressed. Sarah came home late from work but we hustled over there. We even raced Clare when she opted to take the tunnels while Katie, Lil B and Sarah chose a stroll through the quad. The cashier took our order and the head chef/manager/bartender said, "it's a Wednesday night, everyone could use a drink." He didn't even make us sit at the bar or wait an hour. We sat at a booth and he brought over our drinks in plastic cups.
#lol

We sat and chatted and teared up while reminiscing about times at Iggy's during our college careers. And of course we took pictures to remember the moment. The only thing missing was our beloved Mimi. We chugged our drinks because A) Iggy's was closing and B) We needed to get to Midnight Breakfast.

"YIKES"

Remember Jim, our landlord?
We do.

We ran into some drama with our landlord when he volunteered our house as a storage unit for the future tenants. He first e-mailed all the roomies and our parents, saying the new tenants needed to move some belongings in. He also asked if anyone was moving out early because one of the future tenants wanted to get in the house ASAP.

UMMM PARDON?

Obviously we said we weren't moving out early. Our parents also said they wouldn't feel comfortable being responsible for their belongings for such a long time (they wanted to move their stuff in on May 14th..a solid two weeks before we even thought about moving out). Despite our concerns, Jim just responded to our e-mails with a "YIKES!"

Long story short the new tenants moved some of their stuff into our basement and we weren't happy about it. It also strengthened our disapproval of Jim.
