Friday Favorites #1

Friday's got us feeling like...
We know Tay, us too!
We're trying something new this week and are joining our first ever linky party! Yay! Link parties are a way for bloggers to connect with other bloggers all over the place. The 25 Hoes always have to add a fun twist on things and since it's our first link party, we're talking about our favorite #25Hoes memory so far. In the future we'll share our favorite event of the week, a new favorite nail polish, a fav song, etc so stay tuned! We're linking up with our Texas-living hosts AndreaNarci and Erika for our first Friday Favorites! Brace yourselves...

Michelle
Awww my girlfriends! During a heart wrenching experience a couple months ago my Hoes cheered me up by creating a crazy and creative way to completely turn the heart wrenching experience into one of my favorite memories that I'll tell my kids about (who I'll have with a hotter man). Their solution, which was a simple phone call, turned into a nightly experience that kept us laughing for days. We still joke about it today and I'm sure we will for years to come. I'm so glad that I had the #25Hoes to help me during this difficult time and to help me create it into a positive experience. Never a dull moment with us. Seven days!

*Life lessons friends! When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! :)

Sarah
Oh man, Lil' B took mine. Okay fine our first ladies night at Cole's during the first week of school. What a great night, we need to start those up again. We all started out just enjoying ourselves and somehow kept accumulating those yellow plastic cups. I brought out the sweat pills and used them as maracas, we were sitting in a booth, we were listening to Justin Bieber and pre-crazy Miley Cyrus, we ran into Christina and Sonia, we saw a bunch of people from our school, and everyone had a good time. Michelle met some people from another college and we left them hanging (oops). Also KeShawn drove us back which was the best part, because we were safe. Hi Mom and Dad! So yea, my fav mem was def our first night at Cole's together.

*Nice abbreviations Sar!

Clare
That day we made that meal and then sat on the porch killing bees. We made Bisquick chicken nuggets, pasta salad, and my sister made this caramel apple dip that was the bomb.com. We sat on the porch on a nice September day, brought our homework out, and greeted people walking down the street. And then the bees came. So we retaliated. With Raid. And swinging/smacking them with our textbooks. Sarah was yelling at the bees as if they could hear, Katie was yelling in German, and the whole student body was observing us. In case you're wondering, the Raid worked temporarily, then we ran out and had to go inside. On our way in I distinctly remember Sarah threatening the bees with "We'll be back! With more Raid! So watch out!!" (We took out curse words for your reading pleasure)

Katie
Hmm, tough one. Probably the time I laughed so hard I thought I burst my carotid artery, which was back in October. One Sunday night Mama B sent Sarah back with an apple/blackberry crisp and we were in the middle of catching up on our weekends while devouring the crisp like cavemen eating the crisp with such great etiquette. Lil' B and Clare were watching a Halloween movie in the living room. Michelle was telling Sarah and I about her recent conversation with a guy friend. After telling us a sweet story we said, "Aww Michelle! You have to go after him! You might as well add him to the resume!" I'm pretty sure her exact response was "Hmm, quality versus quantity. Ew no." Which led us to chant-loudly- "Quality versus quantity! Quality versus quantity!" over and over again while stomping our feet on the ground. This whole time Lil' B and Clare were too into Halloweentown to notice. It's one of those you-had-to-be-there moments but it's certainly one of my fav memories so far :)

Lil' B
In honor of a friend's birthday we decided to gather in the upstairs hallway before heading out for the night. Pretty much we just blasted music, sat on the floor, and enjoyed our beverages...because college.

Enjoy your weekend! We're getting Christmas-y next week!

Xoxo
