Quad Party: Part 2

The Mother of All Blog Posts (Again)
We're back to finally recap the second part of Quad Party.

You can see Part One here
If you're in the mood for a good laugh we suggest reading it :)

So we left off right before the opening of the Quad Party festivities. On our way over to Quad Party Sarah greeted and thanked every security officer on the premise. Katie forgot her student ID and had to run back to the house. Lil B wanted to take one more shot. So we were off to a good start!

Quad Party has the best food choices and the best part is it's all for free. This year's food choices included: ice cream truck, Chef's, Ted's Hot Dogs, Chiavetta's BBQ Chicken, Lloyd's Taco Truck, Franco's Pizza, French fry truck, and fried dough. Our stomachs are exploding just thinking about all this food. The downside was there weren't many options for Michelle. If you know Michelle, you know she loves her avocados, Chobani yogurt, green veggies, and chocolate.

Here we are indulging in some Quad Party food!

The only thing Sarah wanted at Quad Party was Chiavetta's chicken dinner. Here she is! Look how happy that face is!

Enjoying the music!

We all came back to the house to take a little power nap.

Around 4pm we decided to head back to Quad Party for round 2. This time we ate even more food, raced each other on the inflatable obstacle course, and listened to the band The Plagiarists- it was a cover band.

Afterwards we went over to our friend Nicole's house and some of us went to Anderson's for ice cream! As if we didn't eat enough during the day.
We walked in and 7 people were napping on the couch
At night we all met on Michelle's bed and recapped the day while Michelle had a snack of her own.

Snuggles!

Girl talk :)
Quad Party 2016 was the BEST! We had so much fun with our friends, siblings, and fellow Griffs. What a way to celebrate the end of the semester!

Quad Party: Part 1

The Mother of All Blog Posts
Yesterday was THE biggest day of the year at our school! We look forward to it every year and we think it may just be Clare's favorite day ever. It's Quad Party! The all-day drinking and eating fest that only happens once a year.

Our day started promptly at 7am when Clare woke Katie up with a mimosa in bed.

We FaceTimed Lil B and Sarah and they both ignored our calls. Finally, Lil B came upstairs and snuggled with us.

We found out the 23 Bros next door bought a geotag on Snapchat. So of course we used it.

We made more mimosas using the complimentary champagne bottles Katie took from Sarah's cousin's wedding.

Then we sat on the porch.

Clare had her last class as an undergrad at 8am and Katie joined her because why not? They had smoothies and found out how old Clare's sign language teacher was...84! Sister Virginia (Nancy) is turning 85 on May 9th. Happy Birthday, Sis!

Lil B went back to sleep for a "nippy nap" and was showering when Katie and Clare came back. The rest of the #25Hoes were up and we started our day! We set up the table on the porch and started playing some music. Clare's sister stopped over and Clare had a surprise for her..

Look at the excitement on her face!

One last shot of silly string
Of course we had to have a photoshoot. Michael was our photographer and the pictures came out really nice!

Thanks Michael!

We were sitting on the porch when a freshman named Mike asked if he could hang out on the porch with us. We said sure, because we're Jesuits after all. He asked if he could have a mimosa and we politely told him we were out of champagne. Anyone who knows us knows that we had 12 mini bottles left but we had no idea who he was and didn't want to provide alcohol to an unknown under-aged guy. Are our parents proud of our responsible decision? Hope so! Anyway, he asked some of us if we had boyfriends and wanted to take us out to dinner. Then he told us we should be in a retirement home because of how old we are. UMMMM, EXCUSE ME MIKE?! Clearly he was not feelin 22.
Then Mike left.

Michelle danced down our driveway and street in her blue skort and was honked at by the police officers. That didn't stop her, she just kept dancing. We were laughing so hard we couldn't get a picture :(.

We continued hanging out on our porch until the actual Quad Party opened up at 1:00pm. Stay tuned for Quad Party: Part 2!

Hump Day Ended with a Bang

Literally.

Today was a great Wednesday! Clare had her silent dinner at Olive Garden, Clare & Lil B participated in Wine Wednesday, and Sarah didn't throw up!

We finally got our lawn cut!! Our landlord sent over the landscaper and our postage stamp of a lawn was trimmed down.

Late at night we watched some middle school videos of Michelle. Clare was secretly videotaping these videos until Michelle found out, leaped onto Clare, and pressed delete on her phone. Michelle is on probation from the #25Hoes for her actions. Anyway, she was dancing up the stairs in true-Michelle fashion when she smacked her head on the ceiling...which is also in true-Michelle fashion.

Month in Review: March

How is March over already? It's like we blinked and it was April. We've been slacking with our posts lately but here's our Month in Review for March!

Earlier in March Katie, Sarah, and Michelle headed to our state's capital for our college's basketball league tournament. Unfortunately we lost. But honestly are we surprised? Absolutely not. This was a bittersweet weekend for Katie, Sarah, and Michelle since it was their last weekend being cheerleaders :(
Sarah, the dedicated cheerleader, climbed on tables to get our cheer mats

Lil B has been planning and organizing several fundraisers and events on campus to promote the Relay for Life event our college always hosts. This year the fundraiser at this BBQ restaurant that has amazing pulled pork and macaroni & cheese. Supporting Lil B and indulging in some southern comfort...how could we say no?
Supporting Lil B at her fundraiser for Relay for Life!
We had a couple quiches made, courtesy of Mamma B. Michelle's dad also made us these delicious spinach dip bite appetizers. I think each of us had about five each. Oops!

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day with a lot of fun this year! Kegs and eggs, posing with Sarah's car, a lot of jell-o shots, and a lot of friends!
The famous cutout cookies in shamrocks from Mamma B
Celebrating St. Patrick's Day with friends!
As we get closer to graduation (insert broken heart emoji) we're all questioning what we want to do next year and with our life. One day Katie and Sarah went to Sarah's house for dinner and some March Madness games when we had a nice, long, and comforting discussion with Mamma B about our future.

We also went on a wine tour! We recapped this wine tour a couple days ago but we're still radiating from this day! So much fun, so many snacks, and really good wine on the day before Easter :)

March was the month that the last of us finally turned 22! Sarah also washed her sheets for the first time since August. How cozy does her bed look!

For a couple days Michelle slept on her clean clothes because she didn't have time to put them away.
Looks comfy, right?
April is our last full month of undergrad students :( We have every intention of having fun and completing as many things as possible on our bucket list!

Michelle's Advice for Women

"Stay strong, stay proud, stay true to yourself, and always remember you're a boss as bitch. If anyone disagrees I'll fight them."-Michelle

Xoxo,

All This Happened Before Noon...

Happy Saturday!

Woohoo! We made it to the weekend! Although it's only 11:10am here, the roomies have already had an exciting and busy morning!

It started around 9am when Lil B was hustling and bustling some large objects out of her car into the house- or vice versa, we're not really sure. Then around 10am Michelle and Clare were awake getting ready to start their day. Lil B started running around the house, moving things, and it seemed like she was in a rush. Clare yelled "Good luck, Lil B!" Clare was on her way out the door to paint and poor Lil B lost her car keys! After about 15 minutes of flipping the house upside down to find them, she found them in the garbage can.

Katie and Michelle went to Timmy's to spend some more griff bucks. During that time Michelle and Katie were catching up about life, including boys. Michelle, as always, found some inspiration in zodiac signs and the two of them shared some silly stories over coffee. Michelle bursted out by saying "BOYS ARE SO CONFUSING! Whoever said girls are more complicated is seriously drunk. I've tried thinking like a boy, I've tried acting like a boy, I've tried being a boy and NOTHING makes sense."
Oh we love our Michelle-isms :)

And to believe all this happened before 12noon on a Saturday.

Graduation Sentiments

So we're graduating in a month and a half, and we're dreading it. Today Lil B walked up to Michelle's room for an afternoon chat and saw that her door was open. She quietly knocked on the door and said "Michelle? Are you in here?" Lil B opened the door and saw Michelle laying on her bed with her computer. She had an Australian song playing and was looking at a side by side photo of her and an Australian boy. However, this photo wasn't one they took together. It was a current photo of Michelle and a current photo of the lover that were placed side by side. Michelle said "Look how much we've grown!" We love these Michelle-isms :)

It's not surprise we're all feeling sad as graduation is approaching. We've been reminiscing about our time in college lately and it has us feeling all the feels.

Life Lesson with Michelle #1

As you know, Michelle is always radiating with positive vibes and thoughts. Her glass (of champagne) is always half full, never empty, and always has room for more. Last night Michelle was walking to the bathroom to wash up before bed when she blurted out a Michelle-ism to Katie. Michelle didn't stop to chat or even say Katie's name, she just said exactly what was on her mind.

"Life is just crazy. You never know who you're going to meet, what's coming next, or where you'll end up."

We crack up because this is a normal for Michelle. And we love her all the more for it :)

We're Feeling 22

As of today we are FINALLY all 22 years old, which has us dancing like...

Michelle and Lil B turned 22 on January 25th #twinsies
Katie turned 22 on March 14th
Sarah turned 22 on March 29th
Clare turned 22 on March 30th
*TODAY, AH! Happy Birthday, Clare!

Katie has a confession. She thought Clare's birthday was on the 28th so she called and texted Clare a happy birthday message. Clare, being as sweet as she is, didn't correct Katie and thanked her. Once Katie realized she sent the birthday wishes TWO DAYS EARLY she texted Clare an apology message...

Because of our crazy schedules we haven't had much time to celebrate our birthdays. Michelle and Lil B were on vacation for their birthdays, Katie had student teaching and seminars all day, we went on the wine tour to celebrate Clare's, and we're having a girls night for Sarah's birthday.

Yay for everyone being 22!
